Details of the Bracknell (Tawfield/Great Hollands) observing site:

NGR: SU 854 667
Lat: 51o 23' 30'' North; Long: 00o 46' 28'' West
Height (amsl): 80 metres (262 feet)
On the SW edge of Bracknell (in southeastern Berkshire, England/UK), about 3 km (1.8 miles) from the centre of the town. [ Also, about 800 metres to the ENE of the former Beaufort Park (Met Office Experimental) site. As the name 'Beaufort Park' is now lost in the history of the former Meteorological Office association with the area, I now refer to the site by the original name of 'Easthampstead Park' which describes it's location quite well.]
