Important: our site
here in West Moors is highly enclosed, both due to the nature of the small
garden & the arrangement of the housing development we are located in (see
more on this at 'Site/Instrument history'). This means that temperature data in
particular are far removed from a 'standard' (WMO / Met Office) site
requirement: when I get time, I will make some specific notes on likely
deviation. The data are listed here for interest, and the anomalies will at
least be relevant. The rainfall data appear to be remarkably consistent with
Hurn airport, despite the caveat above.

Height (amsl): 17 metres (56 feet)
On the southern side of West Moors (in eastern Dorset, England/UK), about 0.5
km (0.3 mile) from the centre of the village (PO/Co-op).
